Thanksgiving is an American holiday when we gather with our families and friends to give thanks for everything they have. The original concept of Thanksgiving stems from a tradition that recognizes the first feast from when the Wampanoag Indians helped the early European colonist survive their first winters here in our country, circ 1600's, that's why it's called Thanksgiving, the colonists wanted to show their appreciation.
So on behalf of all our Native ancestors who gave their lives so we could live in fellowship together, you're welcome!
