#occupyoakland Protest

Earlier the City of Oakland erected a fence around the encampment, where the Oakland Riot police forced the peaceful protestors from their tents with tear gas and rubber bullets.

About 2 hours ago, tonight's protestors took down the steel fence and we all know it's juat a matter of time before the Riot Police team comeback.

For now, the protesters are upbeat and chanting.

Protesters want to rename the Oakland City Plaze after Oscar Grant, who was shot and killed by BART police on New Year's Eve last year.
